Brian R McGuire FCCA
Brian qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1975 before forming the practice four years later, having already drawn upon a decade of accountancy experience. Many of his new young clients in ’79 grew and prospered over the years, and are testament to the huge importance that the practice places on building and retaining long-term professional relationships with clients and friends.
As past president of ACCA Ireland, Brian continues to inject pride and enthusiasm into the team at McGuire + Farry, while guiding and contributing to the strategic direction of the profession on areas as diverse as Robotic Process Automation, Analytics and the future effects of Artificial Intelligence.
Patrick L Farry BSSc FCCA
A native of Enniskillen, Paddy joined the practice in 1985 following graduation from Queen’s University Belfast and post graduate studies in Advanced Financial Accounting.
Paddy looks after a diverse portfolio of clients, mostly owner managed businesses and specialises in tax planning and general business advisory.
Paddy is a Non-Executive Director in Keys Premium Finance Limited, an insurance and Fee finance company operating throughout UK and Ireland.
He is a Director in Craigowen Housing Association which provides housing and related amenities for adults who have learning difficulties.
In April 2019 he was appointed as a Non-Executive Director of The Patient and Client Council who act as an independent voice for Patients, Clients and Carers within the Northern Ireland Health and social care service.
Paddy is a keen golfer and family man.
Keith McManus BA (Hons) FCCA
Calling on a comprehensive commercial knowledge gained from over 21 years in practice, Keith’s knowledge of business finance and structures, coupled with an extensive tax knowledge, offers clients in all industries quality solutions and sound business and tax advice.
A SAGEONE Certified Advisor, Keith is an active proponent of cloud based accounting, facilitating clients to work smarter and enabling him to provide proactive advice and a personalised service to clients in real-time.
As the audit compliance and quality control director, this role in the firm also enables Keith to assist clients in setting up strong management procedures and financial controls.
Keith is a past President of the Ulster Members’ Network of ACCA and is also a regular lecturer at Queen’s University Belfast on various financial and business development topics.
